I am Biju BP, a professional in the banking industry who
decided to venture into a journey never done before. After 25
years in banking, I took a bold step and retired voluntarily as
Branch Head at Axis Bank in July 2023. I am an Alumni of IIM
Kozhikode where I have completed the Senior Management
Programmer. I also hold a Post graduation in Sociology and a
Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass
communication. This step was to pursue my passion for travel
and from there stemmed Biju BP Travel.
With my trusted companion, a Royal Enfield Bullet 500 CC
motorcycle, I have travelled to numerous places in the
country, covering thousands of kilometers. In these beautiful
journeys, I have explored and learned so much, leading to a
sense of fulfillment and the urge to do much more and soar
higher, which is why I initiated Biju BP Travel after my
voluntary retirement.
THE JOURNEY
This is a mission to ride solo across all 28 states and 6 union territories of India in a span of 800 days on my motorcycle. This is not only to quench my thirst for adventure and exploration but also to encourage everyone to push their boundaries and to show that it’s all possible. This is a journey across the nervous system of our country that is bound to be a challenge but one I happily welcome. I hope to engage with different communities and understand the diverse culture spanning the country while educating people and impacting society. The social cause I have chosen to promote through this trip is ‘Girl Empowerment Through Education’ (GETE) – providing girls with resources and knowledge to make their mark in this world and encourage them to fly high. This travel is supported by Rotary and I am a Rotarian of Trivandrum South.
